I discovered freediving in 1997, and it quickly became much more than a sport—it became a way of life. Since then, I've dedicated myself to helping people experience the same sense of freedom, confidence, and connection with the ocean that first inspired me.
As an AIDA Instructor since 2013 and an AIDA Instructor Trainer since 2020, I've had the privilege of teaching students from all over the world, from complete beginners to future instructors. Every student has a different story and a different goal, and that's what makes teaching so rewarding.
I founded Ocean Tigers in Cabo San Lucas to create a place where people can learn freediving in a safe, relaxed, and supportive environment. My philosophy has always been simple: focus on solid techniques, safety, and enjoying every moment in the water.
Over the years, I've also been fortunate to contribute to the growth of the local freediving community in Los Cabos. Through courses, coaching, instructor development, and community events, it has been incredibly rewarding to see more and more people discover freediving and become passionate ambassadors for the sport.
For the past three years, I've also had the pleasure of organizing the AIDA Horizontal Blue Pool Competition in Cabo San Lucas. Bringing together athletes, judges, volunteers, and the local community has been a rewarding way to help competitive freediving continue to grow in Mexico and to showcase Los Cabos as an outstanding destination for the sport.
Whether you're taking your very first breath-hold or working toward becoming an instructor, my goal is always the same: to help you progress at your own pace, build confidence, and discover just how enjoyable freediving can be.
I look forward to diving with you.
