FOUNDATIONS OF AIDA JUDGING

Introduction to the judge’s role, AIDA competition structure, Official Top, cards, performance validation, common situations and theory.

You begin to read a competition not as an athlete, but through the calm, precise perspective of a judge.

DAY 2 · FRIDAY JANUARY 15

POOL JUDGING

Pool procedures, STA, DYN, DYNB and DNF as applicable under current AIDA rules, surface protocol, judging decisions and practical scenarios.

DEPTH JUDGING

Depth procedures, official line, tags, announced performances, surface protocol, safety interaction and judging decisions.

Correct competition-line measurement procedures, practical measurement, final review, theory examination and video examination.

For this special edition, an experienced AIDA Judge Trainer will travel from Egypt to Mexico specifically to conduct the course.
